I know I didn't post for way too long, but my new american life in my new host family is very exciting.
In May I had two banquets. Cheerleading banquet and FFA banquet. FFA is an organisation or club that is mostly about agriculture science, but also about friendship and free speaking.
CHEERLEADING BANQUET
Cheerleading banquet came first and it was really nice seeing all my cheerleading friends after a few months. For the banquet, we had to dress up a little bit, but for my opinion some of the girls dressed up a little too much ( high heels, very short dresses,..)

Grace ( on the left side) was the only one of the Johnson Girls that was in my Cheerleading team. She was definitely my best friend in the Cheer team. We were sitting last semester at lunch together and got pretty close friends. Angelica (On my right) was in my Bio/Chem class and she's just lovely. She's, like her sisters, super nice, funny and has a wonderful personality. It was so much fun being their friend! I'm going to miss them so much! Sadly I don't see any of them a lot any more, because we have neither classes together nor the same lunch. I really hope I'm going to see them again after my exchange year is over, because they made my exchange a lot more fun.

My coaches were always very patient with me. I had troubles with the cheers at the beginning, because they were kinda in a "slang" and we didn't get them on paper, so it was hard for me to understand and remember how to say the words.
They were also always very nice to me and gave me more confidence about myself.

At the end of the banquet, some of the Cheerleaders got an award. I, as an foreign exchange student, got the all american award, because it was a typical american experience to learn for me.
FFA BANQUET
I wasn't active in the FFA, because I didn't join them at the beginning of the year, because plant science started in the second semester and before I've been in plant science, I didn't even know that FFA existed.
This is Kayla, I am friends with her since Volleyball started in Fall. Sadly we didn't have any classes together, so after Volleyball season, we didn't see each other a lot any more.

Lauren was in my Bio/Chem Class and is now in my plant science class. I'm also sitting at lunch with her since the second semester started. I think she is probably my best american friend here. She's always been there for me and I'm so glad that i met her. She can be cute and tough at the same time.

FFA banquet was a little different than the Banquets I've been at before. The FFA officer were holding the banquet and did a really good job with their speeches.
